Sundays 8.30 am
A quiet, traditional celebration of Holy Communion, alternating between St Andrew’s (1st and 3rd Sundays of the month) and All Saints (2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month). Please check the information on upcoming services here. 8.30 am services at St Andrew’s are based on the Book of Common Prayer, while services at All Saints are based on Common Worship and include a hymn.
Sundays 10.30 am
There are two 10.30 am services most Sundays, one at All Saints and one at St Andrew’s, however please check the information on upcoming services here. Refreshments are served after all 10.30 am services, and there are always people available to pray with you.
The 10.30 service at St Andrew’s is planned with families in mind, with contemporary music and activities for children and young people every week. The new trial monthly pattern (from January to April 2020) is:
1st Sunday - Family worship with 'Forest Church' for children and Sofa City for young people
2nd Sunday - Parade service with the Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade, with Gems, Pebbles, a Red Carpet activity for children and Sofa City for young people.
3rd Sunday - Family worship, usually with baptism, with all children's and young people's groups
4th Sunday - Family Communion - an All Age Communion Service with no children's groups, with breakfast for adults and children's activities before the service
The 10.30 am service at All Saints is planned mainly with adults in mind, but children are welcome and there are special activities on the first Sunday of each month. The music includes a mix of contemporary songs and traditional hymns. The usual monthly pattern is:
1st Sunday - Holy Communion with activities for young children.
2nd Sunday - Morning worship, usually with baptism
3rd Sunday - Holy Communion
4th Sunday - Healing service
Sundays 6.30 pm (monthly) - Parish Prayer
An informal meeting for prayer and worship 6.30 - 8.00 pm at All Saints, usually on the last Sunday of the month, however please check on upcoming events here.
